Terms and Conditions for All Orders:
Payment:
- 50% non-refundable deposit is due the day the order is confirmed.
- Filling out and submitting an Order Form on this website does NOT confirm your order, this is simply a request to place an order. Based on availability and specifications, we will confirm your order via email.
- Remaining 50% payment is due on pick-up/delivery day.
- Orders will not be made available for pick-up nor will be delivered until full payment is received.
- Payments are processed through Venmo and Zelle. The terms and conditions of those payment processors apply and when you use those services you are agreeing to their terms.
Refunds:
- If you are placing an order for pick-up, the cake becomes your responsibility once it leaves my hands.
- If you place an order for delivery, the cake becomes your responsibility once we deliver it to your desired location.
- We do not assume any responsibility for what happens to your order after either of these instances occur.
- If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your cake or would like to report a complaint, please reach out to me via email and we can work together to find a solution that best suits your needs.
DISCLAIMER:
Customer understands that Cake by Kelli, LLC is NOT an allergen-free, gluten-free, vegetarian based business and its products and Cake(s) may contain or come into contact with items or food products containing dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, peanuts, coconut, tree nuts, flour, cocoa (chocolate), milk, sugar, and/or other allergy causing ingredients. We CANNOT guarantee the absence of cross-contamination from allergen causing products. Customer understands the risks and agrees to notify Customer’s guests of this risk. Customer agrees to hold Cake by Kelli, LLC harmless for any allergic reactions and to indemnify Cake by Kelli, LLC in the event of any claims arising from allergic reactions.
Food Allergies:
- If you or the person that you are ordering a cake for has food allergies and/or food insensitivities, it is crucial that you let me know when you fill out your order form.
- We try our hardest to prevent cross contamination from occurring in my own kitchen, however accidents happen, and we will not be held liable for trace amounts of allergens appearing in your cake.
Pick-up/Delivery:
- We offer a contactless pick-up option at my home. Please notify me of the time slot you plan to arrive at my home so we can make your cake as fresh as possible for you.
- When you are on your way, please notify me letting me know you are at least 10 minutes away and we will place your order on a table outside on my front patio.
- We will not place orders outside for pick-up until the full payment amount has been received.
- Delivery options are based on location and availability. Please select the delivery drop-down when filling out the order form and we will include the price of delivery as part of your quote.
- Cake by Kelli, LLC is not responsible for any damage to the Cake after Delivery and/or set up is Complete. If Customer picks up the Cake, the Customer is responsible for Delivery and Set-up of the Cake. Customer is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the Cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.
